Operating AlMaha Factory to Secure the Medical Supplies
In the context of the private sector’s endeavor to contribute to securing the state’s needs in the medical sector at the present time, the production line of the Al Maha Factory for Medical Supplies was launched. It will contribute to securing the State of Qatar’s need for important products during the current stage, which are: 3-layer medical masks with an anti-bacterial filter, sterile medical dressings (8 folds 12-fold 16-fold) with all required measurements, and non-sterile medical dressings (8 folds 12-fold) 16 – Fold) with all required measurements, medical swabs impregnated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, head and foot caps used for sterilization, medical gloves that are factory-packaged, as well as wound dressings and other various products.
It is worth noting that the Al Maha Factory for the Manufacture of Medical Supplies is one of the national projects in the State of Qatar. The factory was established by the Al Maha Medical Company, which is a unique company in the medical field that has been operating in the Qatari market for years in the field of equipment, medicines and medical supplies. Then came the idea of strengthening the national industries. So, the Al Maha Medical Supplies Factory was established, which will cover the market’s needs of consumables and medical supplies, and then expand and export to all GCC countries and other countries around the world. The Al Maha Medical Supplies Factory is the first factory in the same specialty within the State of Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries that has the ISO quality mark. Administrative and quality mark 9001 in the field of equipment and supplies in addition to obtaining medical ISO 13485 products, which qualifies CE, the European quality certificate, manufactured for export to all countries, including European countries.
The Al Maha factory is currently working to cover the market’s need for medical masks, which will reach the production capacity of the factory after expanding to about 17 million masks per month, as well as providing the market with alcohol swabs necessary for sterilization and disinfection. In the production there are European automated lines, which ensure that the safety and quality of the product are outstanding.
